Shabbat of Welcome
Hosted by PSJC in partnership with UJA Federation of New York
Sukkah Salon
Friday, October 18th | 6:15PM
Join Rabbi Carie Carter and Eden Wofsey for an evening of songs and storytelling in the sukkah. Food and beverage will be provided, but you may also bring your own. Please register in advance if you are able.
Alternative Shacharit with Rabbi Hayley
Saturday, October 19th | 10:00AM
Join Rabbi Hayley in the sukkah for a morning service that is musical and meditative. Following this service, join us in the main sanctuary for the remainder of Shabbat service followed by a festive kiddush.
Shabbat Kulanu Interactive Family Torah
Saturday, October 19th | 11:00AM
Join our Director of Education and Engagement, Aileen Heiman, for a morning nosh and interactive look at the Torah reading for Sukkot. Designed for ages 8+ and their families, but open to all.
Yesod 20s & 30s Havdalah
Saturday, October 19th | 7:00PM
Join PSJCs 20s and 30s group for a musical end to Shabbat with wine, cheese, and more.
Sukkah Cafe
Sunday, October 20th | 10:00AM
Join the PSJC Hebrew School Community for havdalah to officially "end" Shabbat, plus coffee and a nosh and to shake the lulav and etrog in the sukkah!
PSJC Community BBQ & Yard Ribbon Cutting
Sunday, October 20th | 4:30PM - 6:30PM
We end our Shabbat of Welcome by officially cutting the ribbon on our yard renovation project as part of the annual community BBQ! Kosher meat and vegetarian options. RSVP requested.
